Campaign – Membership Rewards



Membership Rewards campaign

Goal: increasing the readership and subscription by introducing Membership Reward benefit program site. This campaign includes digital and print strategies.

For the web, I came up with the idea of the site that includes a variety of contests such as premium concert tickets, special event tickets (i.e. SF Beer Week), travel with hotel stays (i.e. Disneyland Resorts) and other subscription perks (i.e. NFL Autograph Mini Football Giveaways). For the style, I designed a series of clean and modern look icons to showcase all the offers.

For the print, I came up with a series of house ads that have same brand look and color scheme to let people easy to recognize and related to Membership Rewards benefit program for the subscribers.

Cover Redesign


Wheel is an automotive weekly section for the Palo Alto Daily News. I developed a clean and modern look to repackage the section by only highlighted important information which could attract the readers to take a peek of the section. Published Dec. 2006. © Palo Alto Daily News.

Fusion Entertainment Brand

fusion_logo_submissionlargeFusion was a weekly entertainment guide for Palo Alto Daily News (the former Daily News Group) inserted in the paper each Friday. The publication served 40,000 readership in the San Francisco Peninsula area. The logo represents a modern publication style with the flair of our local fusion cultures. I worked closely with the editor to come up with idea for the cover. It was a fun project to do.
